Southeast Missouri State University’s Phi Mu chapter of Tri Delta has been honored with the Margaret Paddock Haller Award during Tri Delta’s 2022 Collegiate Leadership Conference (CLC) in Dallas, Texas.
The Margaret Paddock Haller Award is presented to chapters who show overall excellence, growth and innovation across all areas of chapter operations. The award was presented in front of over 700 Tri Delta chapter officers from 140 Tri Delta collegiate chapters across North America during the “Brave, Bold and Kind Awards Celebration.”
"The Margaret Paddock Haller Award is an incredible accomplishment for the Phi Mu chapter,” said Hannah Gibson, chapter president and Southeast junior. “As a whole, we were extremely honored to receive this award because it shows our hard work does not go unnoticed. I could not be prouder of the women in this chapter and cannot wait to see what we are able to achieve in the future."
The conference provided Tri Delta leaders officer-specific training and professional development, and encouraged them to take their CLC experience back to their campuses and chapters.
CLC was an eye opening and rewarding experience, said Claire Thebeau, chapter vice president of membership experience and Southeast junior.
“We came together as sisters from all over to learn and better our chapters,” she said. “I learned so much about member retention and how to keep the women in our chapter involved. With that being said, winning the Margaret Paddock Haller Award was an outstanding achievement by our chapter. It feels so great knowing our chapter is doing recognizable things.”
Tri Delta Phi Mu chapter is one of seven sororities in Southeast’s Panhellenic Council.
