The Department of Mass Media kicks off its “See Me” Series with a 50th anniversary screening of Maya Angelou’s first film, “Georgia, Georgia” and a conversation with its leading actor Dirk Benedict.
See the film at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 in the Forrest H. Rose Theatre and explore its timeless themes with a panel discussion by Southeast faculty.
Additionally, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6 in the Rose Theatre, Dirk Benedict will share his experiences of making the movie that launched his career, working with Maya Angelou, and his reflections on a stage, film and television career that included performances of two iconic characters: Starbuck on “Battlestar Galactica” and Templeton Peck (Face) on “The A-Team.”
