The Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Endowed Scholarship for SEMO International Students has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation.
Joshua Fonseca of Naples, Florida, and other Lambda Chi Alpha alumni made a gift to establish the award. This scholarship was established to acknowledge the University’s commitment to rich and meaningful experiences for international students, and is named after Lambda Chi Alpha to celebrate Fonseca’s transformative experience as a member of the fraternity and the organization’s commitment to diversity.
The renewable scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate international student enrolled at Southeast with a minimum 3.0 GPA. First preference will go to a student who demonstrates exceptional campus and/or community involvement. The scholarship selection committee will include representatives from the Southeast University Office of International Education and Services, the Southeast Missouri University Foundation and the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University.
