The nursing program is highly respected with a 96% NCLEX pass rate and hands-on training through clinical partnerships in the region. Our program surpasses the national NCLEX pass rate of 91.92%. And, 100% of our nursing graduates secure employment within three months of graduation.

SEMO’s criminal justice students have access to immersive fieldwork and training at SEMO’s Police Academy—currently undergoing a $1.5 million upgrade to enhance facilities, training spaces, and equipment. Through our program, you can earn your Law Enforcement Certificate to graduate with both your bachelor’s degree and Class A Missouri Peace Officer License. This means you’ll be fully qualified to become a full-time sworn law officer on day one.

With its one-of-a-kind River Campus dedicated to visual and performing arts, SEMO is a standout in this space. Our River Campus averages more than 125 productions and performances, 50 exhibitions, and 175 events a year.
