First Professional Pilot Cohort Ready to Take to the Skies

The very first professional pilot cohort is getting ready to walk the stage. Tyler Lofton is one of them. He's taking his talents to the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport to become a flight instructor and ensure students continue to get the best aviation education in the southeast Missouri region. Before any flight, we do extensive planning before we even walk to the plane. This can take quite a while. We need to inspect all aspects of the plane, ensuring the aircraft is safe to fly. But, once all that is done, you can do what you put all the effort towards, and I find this extremely satisfying.

Southeast Graduate Begins Career at St. Louis Children’s Hospital

I always had a passion to work with kids, even at a young age. I loved volunteering and interacting with them. I just found kids to be fascinating with how their brain works along with their emotions. I chose this path because I believe I can make a difference in children’s lives.
