Angela Meyer, AIA, joined Southeast Missouri State University in Facilities Management in November 2001. She has served as Director of Facilities Management since January 2010. Angela served as Interim Director of FM from July 2009 to December 2009, Associate Director for Design and Construction from February 2007 to June 2009 and Project Manager from November 2001 to January 2007.
As Director of Facilities Management, Angela provides leadership over the following areas: Design, Construction, Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds, Fleet, Central Receiving and Boiler Plant operations.
During her time as Director, Angela has been very active in APPA, Leadership in Educational Facilities and CAPPA, the Central region of APPA. Her involvement with these organizations has helped transform her into a higher performing facilities leader, which helps lead the department in being supportive of the University's learning environment therefore creating a direct impact on the recruitment and retention of faculty, staff and students. She served as CAPPA President in 2017-18 and sat on the APPA National Board of Directors 2018-2021.
When she is not working, she enjoys time with her husband and three children.
