After teaching in K-12 settings for 15 years, I left the classroom to become an Education Specialist for the Missouri NASA Education Program at SEMO. Stationed in Kirksville, Missouri, I conducted STEM presentations in schools and hosted teacher education workshops for those teaching K-12 science. When the NASA program ended I started my career in the testing industry as Testing Coordinator for A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

When the opportunity arose, I accepted the position as Director of Testing Services at SEMO. I am originally from the area and was glad to return along with my husband, Dave. We love traveling to the state parks and hiking trails throughout the area, and researching grist mills in the southern part of the state.
