What was your major at Southeast and how would you characterize the quality of that program to prospective students?

Fashion & Consumer Studies. This program allowed for a lot of independent work & the opportunity to work at the student store at Catapult, I really valued the real world experiences.

Why did you choose to attend Southeast?

I transferred to SEMO my Sophomore year, the things that attracted me most were: location, Greek Life, and the Fashion program!
I moved to Cape from Milwaukee, WI and I remember after my tour of the school I sat by the Mississippi River and knew it was the place for me!

Who influenced you most during your time at Southeast?

Member of: Alpha Chi Omega, Order of Omega, Fashion Society, CEO (Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization) and Little Black Book.
Being involved in clubs defined my college experience! It's translated nicely to my corporate life as I'm now on the leadership board of Kohl's Young Professionals Business Resource Organization (YPBRG) and my category's Volunteer Champion. I I highly recommend being involved outside of the classroom if you aren't already.

If you were in Greek Life, the Honors Program or any other student organization, please tell us about that experience and how it impacted you.

Change is GOOD! Moving to a new state helped me grow immensely. Any uncomfortable change is just growing pains which will result in AMAZING things.

Describe Southeast in three words.

Irreplaceable, Adventurous & Growth
