The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors appointed Angie Wilson, director of development for the Southeast Missouri University Foundation, to the River Campus Board of Managers.
Wilson replaces Dr. Trudy Lee who retired Aug. 31. Wilson’s term runs through Dec. 1, 2025. Her appointment is subject to confirmation by the Cape Girardeau City Council.
Wilson is one of three Southeast Missouri State University representatives on the Board of Managers along with Dr. Brad Sheriff, vice president of finance and administration, and Rhonda Weller-Stilson, dean of the Earl and Margie Holland College of Arts and Media. City representatives on the Board of Managers are Kenneth Haskin, Danielle Poyner and Sophia Han.
The Cooperation Agreement for the St. Vincent Seminary property between the City of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University calls for both the City Council and the Board of Governors to each appoint three members to the River Campus Board of Managers. At least one of the City’s appointees must be from the hotel/motel industry. Members serve three-year terms.
