It’s that time of year again when the University transitions from cooling to heating. This change-over can lead to customer inquiries about buildings being too hot or too cold.
Facilities Maintenance personnel have been working to shut down certain cooling systems and perform the proper maintenance to bring heating systems online.
Facilities Management is working to ensure a seamless changeover, but weather variations may cause unanticipated fluctuations to interior temperatures as we progress through this transition. Facilities Management apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as it performs these necessary tasks.
If you suspect you have a mechanical issue with the AC/heating system, post a work order with Facilities Management by:
- Go to facilities.semo.edu
- Click on the “Submit a Request” on the left side.
- Fill out the request with as much detail as possible.
- Click the “Submit” button at the bottom.
- An email will update you on the status of your request.
