The first cohort of the Online Teaching Academy (OTA) concluded with a graduation held April 12, celebrating 24 Southeast faculty members who completed the program.
Faculty who completed the program include:
- Dr. Nancy Aguinaga, professor in the exceptional child education program; and program coordinator for Southeast’s Master of Arts in Exceptional Child program;
- Dr. Sarah Dietrich, assistant professor of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL);
- Beverly Evans, professor of recreation and park administration;
- Dr. Tony Faber, professor of family studies;
- Dr. Susan Fulton, assistant professor of communication disorders;
- Dr. Natallia Gray, assistant professor of economics;
- Natalie Holley, instructor of communication studies;
- Dr. Sarah Kuborn, assistant professor of family studies;
- Dr. Christine Ladwig, assistant professor of marketing;
- Dr. Debbie Lee-DiStefano, professor of Spanish language and culture;
- Dr. Philip MacKenzie, instructor of English;
- Dr. Leisa Marshall, professor of accounting;
- Dr. Jim McGill, professor of chemistry and director of the Jane Stephens Honors Program;
- Dr. Alisha Ortiz, associate dean of Donald L. Harrison College of Business and Computing and associate professor of marketing;
- Carole Pfeiffer, instructor of computer science;
- Dr. Monica Radu, assistant professor of sociology;
- Desma Reno, assistant professor of nursing;
- Dr. D’Arcy Reynolds, assistant professor of psychology;
- Dr. Craig Roberts, associate professor of mathematics;
- Dr. Jason Sides, assistant professor of political science;
- Dr. Robin Smith, instructor of middle and secondary education;
- Dr. Joseph Snyder, assistant professor of history;
- Karl Suhr, professor and electronic resources librarian; and
- Dr. Sven Svenson, professor of agriculture
