Edwin T. (Eddie) Cato is a member of Riley, Stubbs & Cato LLC of Dexter, Missouri where he is a CPA serving the accounting, tax, and consulting needs of small businesses, local governments, non-profits, and individuals since 1982. He has been an owner of the firm since 1986 and serves as the firm's quality control partner.
Eddie graduated summa cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and passed the CPA exam later that fall. He has served in various committees in the Missouri Society of CPAs, including Governmental Accounting, Information Technology, Peer Review Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and Southeast Chapter President. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of MSCPA Affinity LLC.
Eddie's family and faith are important aspects in his life. His wife Jeannie, a 1999 SEMO graduate, is a teacher in the Dexter Public Schools. His daughter Bailey is a partner with TNTP in Memphis, Tennessee, and his son Andrew is an associate web developer with Suretybonds.com in Columbia, Missouri. Eddie serves as deacon, treasurer and in the media ministry of Risen Church in Dexter.
