Connect and Share with Mass Media
Continue to main contentPrepare graduates for a lifetime of stories: that’s what we do.
In the Department of Mass Media, we know graduation is only the beginning of your journey. We want to stay connected and use your knowledge as we train the next generation. Whether that is guest lecturing, supervising a student intern, or supporting a scholarship, we know alumni are not only a proud part of our history but a key part of our future.
What’s your story?
We want to know what you have done since graduation. Take a moment to fill out our short form and share some advice with our current students.
Giving Back to the Department
The support of alumni and friends empowers the Department of Mass Media to prepare the next generation of communicators. We are proud of where we have been, but we can’t keep moving forward without your help.
Here’s How to Get Started:
- Volunteer to guest lecture on campus or virtually.
- Invite a student group to tour your workplace.
- Supervise a student intern in your field.
- Contribute to one of our existing endowed scholarships for students.
- Support the Herb and Peggy Taylor Endowment for Excellence in Media Communications.
- Contact our Director of Development Angie Wilson to explore how you can help the Department with endowment projects.
Professional Advisory Council
It is important for the Department to stay connected to mass media industry professionals. Advisory Council members are recruited to represent each of the four curricular options with the Department and serve as a sounding board for educational and development issues.
