Southeast Missouri State University accounting and finance students made it to the final round of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) Community Bank Case Study Competition, ranking top five nationwide.
The CSBS Community Bank Study Competition provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to increase their knowledge of the banking industry. A total of 35 student teams representing 27 colleges and universities participated in the competition. The competition pairs student teams with community banks to conduct case studies on various topics. This year’s competition included five topics:
- Financial Analysis
- Interest Rate Environment and Inflation
- Branch Strategy
- Technology
- Regulatory Burden
