EDvolution® Center

The EDvolution® Center is a technology and resource facility dedicated to providing an experiential learning environment for students that fosters expanded problem-solving and critical thinking skills through hands-on interactions with emerging, state-of-the-art technology. You can apply any number of technology solutions to the task at hand.

Center for Speech & Hearing

The Center for Speech and Hearing provides comprehensive diagnostic and intervention services for communication disorders for all ages. The Center gives Southeast students the unique opportunity of seeing clients for therapy sessions in addition to completing a clinical practicum.

University School for Young Children

The USYC is an academic center for the training and education of students in early childhood education, child development and psychology. The Center also supports childcare services for student-parents which is a proven method for retention of students at universities.

Autism Center

The Autism Center provides diagnostic evaluations and re-evaluations (infants through adulthood), assessment for treatment planning, behavior therapies, and interventions. The Center provides a number of internship and practicum opportunities for students in speech/language, counseling, psychology, and more.

Real-world Learning

  • Prevention Resource Center

    The Prevention Resource Center helps communities prevent substance misuse and gives students the opportunity to work on numerous community-based initiatives, training, and events.

  • Lift for Life Academy

    Southeast sponsors a charter school in St. Louis. The Academy serves 750 students in pre-K-12 grades. The school is also a great resource for Southeast education students wanting to gain critical field experience.
