Camp Redhawk is for new students during the summer before their first semester at SEMO.

Camp Redhawk is a 4-day, 3-night introduction to campus life and traditions. You'll learn about SEMO spirit, and meet other new Redhawks. It's all so that you're familiar with SEMO's campus and Cape Girardeau before your first day in class.

Camp Redhawk 2026

  • Session One: June 14 - 17, 2026
  • Session Two: July 13 -16, 2026

If you're coming to Session Two, you can stay an extra night for First STEP Orientation. You'll stay in a residence hall and have all your meals provided for $30. This is great for students coming from long distances so they can do Camp Redhawk and First STEP Orientation.
