This course is four hours and costs $25. It will be held in the Law Enforcement Academy classroom at 122 S. Ellis Street in Cape Girardeau.
Course Summary:
In this course, we take a look at the physiological and mental aspects of dangerous/deadly
encounters, including relevent research. We then give the officers the tools necessary
to survive these deadly/dangerous situations during the event and after it occurs.

Attendance Policy:
"Students attending Continuing Education programs sponsored by the Southeast Missouri
State University Law Enforcement Academy must attend all of the regular blocks of
instruction in order to receive a certificate of completion. In Continuing Education
Programs, which consist of discreet blocks of instruction, the student may receive
continuing education credits for those blocks which are actually completed."
