This course is four hours and costs $25. It will be held in the Law Enforcement Academy classroom at 122 S. Ellis Street in Cape Girardeau.
In this course, we take a look at the physiological and mental aspects of dangerous/deadly encounters, including relevent research. We then give the officers the tools necessary to survive these deadly/dangerous situations during the event and after it occurs.

"Students attending Continuing Education programs sponsored by the Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy must attend all of the regular blocks of instruction in order to receive a certificate of completion.
