Priority Progress:
During the planning process, several initiatives emerged to support the achievement of the plan's goals. These initiatives are outlined below. We anticipate further development of both the initiatives and the tactics that support them as we share the plan with campus and community. As implementation moves forward, progress on the initiatives as well as updates as they evolve will continue to be shared here.
EMERGING INITIATIVES
- Develop co-op work-based experiences within the curriculum
- Transition the campus to five 8-week terms based on accreditation
standards - Develop regional employment pipelines
- Establish a stackable credentials and training framework across
curriculum for all levels - Recruit a medical school to campus focused on rural healthcare
- Launch a professional engineering program partnership on campus
