dyslexia

A minimum of 2 hours of PD is mandated for K-12 educators each year in Missouri. Administrators and teachers are provided with State guidance on the Dyslexia mandate, optimal screeners, characteristics of dyslexia, and evidence-based strategies to accommodate students with dyslexic characteristics. This training could be provided as a series or a one-time session, and could be K-12 or segmented into diverse elementary and/or secondary.
