The Regional Professional Development Center’s Behavior Intervention Specialist supports educators across the Southeast region with evidence-based strategies that improve academic and behavioral outcomes for all students. Support is available for schools and districts through professional learning, coaching, and consultation focused on building positive behavior supports and effective intervention systems.

Services available include tailored professional development opportunities, including, but not limited to, classroom management, defining and measuring behavior, understanding the principles of behavior change, teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, and implementing individual and classroom behavior strategies. Additional guidance is available for conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and analyzing discipline data to identify trends and improve student outcomes.
