When we say our students build their resumes from day one, that’s not just a catchy phrase. We really mean it.

Here, some of the best classrooms aren't classrooms at all. They’re the fields, laboratories, shops, and stages. They're the places where our students do the work and get experience to add to their resumes, making them more competitive in their job search after graduation.

Career Services

The Office of Career Services is dedicated to assisting students and alumni in cultivating the lifelong skills needed to successfully navigate their educational and career journeys.

After interning at Boeing before my last semester at SEMO, I was brought back on full time as a software engineer and have now transitioned to a scrum master on a team of engineers that maintain a test aircraft.

Hands-On Learning

Learning happens beyond the classroom with real-world experience integrated into every program. On-campus facilities, internships, field placements and more are used to prepare students for a career after college.

Career Services Goes Beyond Resumes

"I eventually changed my major a total of four times. I know that sounds crazy and I'm still on track to graduate. I don't how, but I am. Without them (Career Services) I really don't think I would be where I am today because they have helped me truly understand what I wanted to do. I'm really, really grateful for that."
