Welcome to the Master of Science in nursing program, a part of the Department of Nursing at Southeast Missouri State University. The MSN degree offers a family nurse practitioner track and a nurse educator track.
The University’s graduate nursing program is the only graduate nursing program physically located in the region and focuses on the assessment, management and delivery of health care services to individuals and families across the lifespan. Particular emphasis is directed to health care needs of underserved populations in rural areas. The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The MSN program prepares graduates for the delivery of primary health care and for critical investigation, integration and synthesis of scientific knowledge in advanced nursing practice. MSN preparation provides a foundation for doctoral study.
*Admission Deadline for Fall 2020 is April 1, 2020, or, Until All Seats Are Filled*
