Join Laura Klaus in making a Lazy Susan Basket at Crisp Museum!
Follow step by step instructions with Laura Klaus to create your 12" wide x 4" tall round Lazy Susan basket in a matter of hours. Natural fibers are dampened and woven to create an attractive finished piece in one session. It has a turning mechanism and is a very nice size to leave out on a table or sit on a shelf.
Laura Klaus teaches others to weave using her own basket designs. She is a master at the process and an excellent instructor, keeping participants at a steady pace. The baskets are sturdy and look professional when finished. Klaus returns often to Crisp Museum, each time with a different design. Make one for yourself or as a gift to others.
Preregistration is required by September 2. This class has a $75 fee that covers all supply expenses.
Basket Making will begin at 9 a.m. and has no set end time.
To register, visit the Museum or go to semo.edu/museum and follow the prompts.
