Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum and River Heritage Quilters' Guild (RHQG) are partnering to host the workshop "How Do You Quilt That?" a free motion quilting workshop with Chris Schulte on Tuesday, June 9 from 9 a.m.-noon at Crisp Museum.
Chris Schulte, of Green Light Quilts, is a professional pattern designer and long armer. The term "free motion" is surface stitching on fabric using a domestic sewing machine. Whether you're a free motion quilter or new to sewing, this class has something for you. Schulte will guide you through tricks for the best finish on your quilt top and then give ideas for quilting a variety of designs.
Preregistration is required by June 8. Limited seating is available and supplies are required. The event is $35 and checks can be made out to RHQG. For questions, contact Christine Childers at (573) 450-9822 or shelovestodig@yahoo.com.
