"Curiosities," an Exhibition of Works by  assistant professor Lanie Gabbard will be on view Friday, February 6 through Friday, February 27 in the Arts Expansion (ARX) Gallery.

Gabbard is in her second year as assistant professor and area head of the Graphic and Interactive Design specialization at SEMO. She blends real-world experience with creative chaos, teaching students to do it their own way, trust their instincts, and figure it out with confidence. Gabbard has twenty-plus years of experience in graphic design and sixteen years of teaching. She is a self-described “typographic gangster from Oklahoma, slinging ink on paper since 2015 and self-taught in watercolor.”

An opening reception for "Curiosities" will take place on Friday, February 6 from 5-7 p.m.
