Southeast Missouri State University has announced holiday hours for the upcoming winter break. SEMO will be closed from Dec. 24, 2025, through Jan. 4, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. Spring 2026 semester classes begin Jan. 12.
Winter break hours are as follows:
Student Recreation Center:
- Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: Noon-7 p.m.
- December 24-26 / Closed
- December 31-January 1 / Closed
Student Aquatic Center:
- Monday–Friday: 5:30-7 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 4-7 p.m.
- Saturday–Sunday: Noon-5 p.m.

All recreation facilities will begin reduced hours on Sunday, Dec. 14 and resume normal operating hours on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026.

Dining:
SEMO dining will run its regularly scheduled hours at select venues through Friday, Dec. 12. After Friday, Dec. 12, meal plans end. The Beanery will be open for cash, credit and Redbucks during breakfast and lunch when the University is open. All meal plans resume at lunch on Wednesday, Jan. 7. Dining hours return to normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 12.

Residence Halls:
The residence hall desks will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 12, and reopen on Sunday, January 11, 2026. A staff member will be on call for each side of campus during that timeframe, and all residence halls will remain open.
