The Department of Music at Southeast is proud to announce open auditions for students and community for an updated production of Johann Strauss’ musical comedy The Bat’s Revenge (Die Fledermaus).
Rehearsals will occur during the fall semester, and performances will be January 20 and 22, 2023.
Auditions will be held August 23 from 3:30-5:30 p.m., at the River Campus (singing only). Callbacks will be, August 25 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (cold reading and movement).
Auditionees should prepare one song, aria, or golden age musical theatre piece (English preferred but any language is acceptable). Please bring one copy of the music for the accompanist, which is provided.
