National History Day Regional Contest

Participants will present their research on this year's theme: Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History. Judging runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon on the fourth floor of the University Center. While projects are being evaluated, participants can explore campus information tables on the third floor and attend activities including residence hall tours, hands-on historic preservation workshops with artifact photography and paper cleaning, and special collections visits at Kent Library. An awards ceremony will be held at noon in Academic Hall Auditorium, where first, second, and third place winners will advance to the state competition in Columbia, MO.

Registration deadline is Friday, February 20.
