The online applied technology program is designed to build your Associate of Applied Science in a technology field into a bachelor's degree. With an applied technology major, build on your foundations of technology knowledge and be prepared to pursue careers in networking, graphics, electrical and mechanical systems, and more. Course electives allow you to learn about your areas of interest, letting you tailor the degree to your needs.

In addition to your online coursework, gain experience-driven opportunities through a senior design capstone course solving open-ended industrial problems in a team, and labs to help build your resume while furthering your education. This means you're on a career-ready path from day one.

Applied Technology Curriculum

The applied technology degree requires a minimum of 120 credit hours to complete, including the general education requirements and at least 39 senior division hours.

As a teacher, my goal is to help students develop a fundamental approach to solve problems that are encountered in the physical world. Instead of focusing on the solution to a particular problem I encourage them to focus on the problem-solving methodology. This approach makes them think independently.
