- SEMO NOW! is non-partisan.
How can I get involved with SEMO NOW!?
- SEMO NOW! works to engage and educate SEMO alums, donors, supporters, and community members about the value of SEMO and public higher education. We host advocacy training events and other educational opportunities and will provide updates to advocates on the University’s advocacy initiatives in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C. We may also occasionally ask our advocates to send messages to their lawmakers in support of higher education and SEMO.
Does SEMO NOW! focus its efforts on state government or federal government?
- Most of our work focuses on state investment in higher education and issues affecting SEMO at the state level. From time to time, we may educate and urge advocacy at the federal level.
