The pool, located in the Student Recreation Center, is open for free swim. This includes the climbing wall, zip line and hot tub ! Access is free to all Southeast students and their families.

Visit the greenhouse for its annual Fall Mum Sale. In addition, you will find a variety of annuals and perrenials. Charles L. Hutson Greenhouse

10:00am-2:00pm             
Tours – Charles Nemanick Alternative Agriculture Garden, which is the gardens and trails that surround the Charles L. Hutson Horticulture Greenhouse

5:00pm-8:00pm
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity, the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), and Rust Media present Food Truck Friday at 301 Broadway (parking lot behind Rust Media).

Ice Cream Social at International Village (1025 N. Sprigg St.). Everyone is welcome to check out the new International Village, inaugurated in April 2019, for free ice cream while mingling with international students from all over the globe.

Ornament Painting with Addieville Creations -- Catapult Creative House
Participants can paint Southeast Missouri State University themed ornaments.

Patriot Day Freedom 5K—Show Me Center
In remembrance of Patriot Day (9/11), the Office of Military and Veterans Services and the Student Veterans Organization will host the 5K.  Check-in/registration begins at 9 am and the event begins at 10 am. Participants can register at http://www.runreg.com/patriot-day-freedom-5k.  Advanced tickets are $12 and day of the event $15. This event is pet-friendly and family-friendly.  All proceeds go to local veteran service organizations.

Day on the River Event – Downtown at the Riverfront Park; including boat rides.
Discover what the river has to offer you! Hands-on activities will teach you the importance of the Mississippi river and surrounding wetlands. This event is fun for the entire family featuring live river animals and free boat rides on the Mississippi led by our river research experts. Boat rides take place throughout the day with the last boat leaving at 3:30 pm. This event is located at Riverfront Park depending on river levels. Youth and adult groups welcome.

Breakfast with President Vargas, Front of Kent Library Portico, Normal Street  (Rain Location is South Dining Room located in the University Center.) Join President Vargas for a complimentary continental breakfast.

Bus Tours of the Main Campus, River Campus and downtown area lasting approximately 45 minutes. Sign up at the information tent near the University Center.

Kick-off the game with appearances by the Southeast Missouri State Marching Band, Sundancers, Cheerleaders and Rowdy! Also, cheer on the football team as they stroll around the stadium in the traditional Redhawks Walk. Personal tailgating space is available in the Wehking Alumni Center parking lots.
