Comprehensive Rotations

Hands-on experiences cover a massive demographic range, including adult health, hospital administration, pediatric care, and obstetrics. Students work alongside professionals who are experts in their field.

Collaborative Care

Undergraduate and graduate students actively participate in field research alongside noted faculty, utilizing University teaching facilities and laboratories as active research environments. Communication disorder students actively lead local aphasia groups and partner with performing arts students for advanced voice imaging.

Athletic Training Clinical Rotations

Athletic training students complete a rigorous sequence of five progressive clinical experience courses. They work alongside sports medicine professionals to gradually gain complete autonomy in assessing, treating, and managing live injuries in real-time sports environments

Professional Internships

Internships place students directly into local clinics, corporate wellness programs, and sports organizations to build marketable resumes.

Immersive Nursing Practicum

During their final semester, nursing students complete an intensive six-week clinical practicum paired with eight weeks of targeted NCLEX-RN exam preparation.

The ASHA is a professional association for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the United States and internationally.
National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association

The NSSLHA is the national organization for all students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication. It is the only official national student association recognized by the ASHA.
Missouri Speech-Language-Hearing Association

The MSHA serves as the state association representing speech-language pathologists, audiologists, speech, language, and hearing scientists and related personnel associated with organized speech, language, and hearing education and health-care settings.
