Concert Band allows all Southeast students to express their musical interest in a large group setting. Many of the finest musicians on this campus participate in this ensemble and approximately 50% of Southeast’s Concert Band performers are non-music majors.

This is a traditional wind band that features brass, percussion, and woodwind musicians in a large group setting. The ensemble performs a wide variety of wind band literature across several difficulty levels, presenting intriguing programs that serve to engage its members and audience alike.

The Concert Band rehearses on the River Campus and performs in the beautiful Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at the River Campus.

This ensemble allows all students to express their musical interest regardless of their major. No audition is required, however, enrollment in Concert Band (MU391) is required for participation.

The Concert Band Ensemble only meets during the Spring semester. Rehearsals are held weekly on Monday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are two performances shared with the Southeast Wind Symphony.
