Southeast Missouri State University’s online programs rank among the best in the nation, according to the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs. The rankings evaluate more than 1,800 online bachelor’s and master's degree programs across the nation.
Southeast is ranked as the 144th best overall online bachelor’s program, moving up six slots from the year before.
“We are thrilled to see Southeast Online continue to rank among the best and continue to move up in the rankings,” said Dr. Chelsea McNeely, director of Southeast Online. “Our online programs focus on giving our students a flexible and high-quality online education, and this year shows that we are continuing to grow and improve on our goals of doing that.”
Southeast’s online master's in criminal justice ranked 61. Southeast is ranked 75 for the best online bachelor’s degrees for veterans and 106 for the best online bachelor’s degree in business.
Southeast’s online master’s in business (non-MBA), online master’s in education, and online MBA, are all recognized on the list of the best colleges as well.
“Our faculty and staff at Southeast are dedicated to ensuring high-quality online education and help make this happen,” McNeely said. “They commit their time and resources to ensure every student who chooses the online route has the best experience possible. We would not have the success we do without them.”
