One week remains in this years Southeast Missouri State University United Way campaign which ends Oct. 31.
Remember that SEMO employees may designate their gift of $50 or more to provide a just-in-time grant. This fund will help Southeast students who are experiencing significant financial burdens that may prevent them from completing their education.
One hundred percent of donations to this designated fund will be given to students as a grant paid directly to their student account. Other incentives, based on giving levels, include a drawing for an all-inclusive one year Recreation Center membership that includes the Aquatic Center; Southeast football and/or basketball tickets; a $10 Southeast Bookstore gift certificate; two tickets to a performing arts event (River Campus Touring Series not included). The campaign is now paperless.
One-time gifts or giving through payroll deduction is welcome. For more information on the United Ways initiatives, please contact Tammy Underwood at ext. 6888 or visit www.unitedwayofsemo.org.
