The bachelor of applied technology degree is specifically designed for students who have earned a technically oriented Associate of Applied Science degree from an accredited institution. The program allows you to build on that curriculum to earn your four-year Bachelor of Applied Science.
Faculty advisors will work with you to identify areas of specialization in your chosen discipline and even help connect you to employers in the region.

As you pursue your applied technology degree, you’ll be equipped to enter into technical management roles, but your electives will often prepare you for field of entry. You’ll complete a minimum of 120 credit hours to complete this degree, including the general education requirements and at least 39 senior division hours.
Some requirements may be fulfilled by coursework in major program.
Milestone: maintain 2.0 cumulative GPA
Degree requirements for all students: a minimum of 120 credit hours, completion of the General Education program, and completion of 39 senior division hours (300-599). Refer to the Undergraduate Bulletin or Degree Works for additional graduation requirements for your program.
A minimum 2.00 GPA in the major and overall are required to graduate with a BAS degree.
Many major courses are on a set rotation and dependent on when prerequisites are completed. The actual semester a course is taken may vary based on the rotation.
