The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Southeast Missouri State University emphasizes the understanding of how people think, feel, and act. Students in the Department acquire a strong knowledge base and critical thinking skills through a comprehensive and flexible curriculum to achieve their professional goals and also become leaders in their communities by working with faculty members from diverse backgrounds in research, internship, and student organization opportunities.
