I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK). I teach undergraduate courses in American Government and graduate-level courses in Public Administration. My teaching focuses on helping students connect theoretical concepts and public institutions to real-world governance and policy challenges.

My research interests include nonprofit management, education policy, government finance, and the use of artificial intelligence in pedagogy. In recent years, I have become particularly interested in how legislative and policy decisions can shape the productive and responsible use of AI across education and public institutions.

Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, and going to the gym. These activities help me maintain balance and bring discipline and energy to my work.
