Nazmul Hosen is an Assistant Professor of Forensic Chemistry at Southeast Missouri State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi, where his research involved the synthesis and study of fluorescent organic molecules using spectroscopic and electrochemical methods.

At SEMO, his teaching and research interests center on forensic and analytical chemistry, with an emphasis on fluorescence-based detection, chemical analysis, and undergraduate research.
