Lisa Fischel is an actor, director, and educator with professional experience in theatre, voice-over, and film. She has worked in markets across the US, including Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Tampa. Favorite venues include Theatre Horizon, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, and Actor’s Express.

She holds an MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BA in Stage and Screen Acting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has also trained with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in Shakespeare and Movement and Theatrical Intimacy Education in Intimacy Choreography & Coordination. 

Lisa specializes in Voice and Movement pedagogy, including Lessac, Linklater, Suzuki, Laban, Viewpoints, and Knight-Thompson Speechwork. She is certified in The Expressive Actor: Integrated Voice, Movement, and Acting Training. Her additional teaching experience includes Accents & Dialects, Acting for Stage and Screen, Voice-Over, Script Analysis, Shakespeare, Period and Modern Styles, Directing, and Theatre History.

Lisa is a member of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE), the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), and the Association of Theatre Movement Educators (ATME), where she served as Vice President from 2022 to 2024.
