Student Representative to the Board of Governors — Board of Governors
Clayton M. Eftink of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was appointed as Student Representative to the Board of Governors on April 27, 2023 by Governor Michael L. Parson with a term expiring January 1, 2024.
Eftink, is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in accounting, entrepreneurship, and business law. He has also been accepted into the accelerated masters program and plans to specialize in financial management. He is a Presidential Ambassador; a member of the St. John Henry Newman Center; and he has participated in the First Year Leadership and the Emerging Leaders programs. In addition, Clayton is a student-athlete at SEMO participating as a member of the University’s NCAA Division-I Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
He is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau.
