Southeast Missouri State University is offering students and alumni the chance to meet with employers from across the nation during the 2023 Spring Career Expo at the Show Me Center.
The event will take place on March 1 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and welcome over 140 employers.
“This is an incredible opportunity for students to engage with employers without leaving campus,” said Dan Presson, interim assistant vice president of ecomomic and workforce development and director of Career Services. “Connecting with employers can lead to internships as well as part-time and full-time employment opportunities. Additionally, this event provides an excellent chance for Southeast students and alumni to test their networking skills and practice their ability to discuss their education and work experiences.”
Employers will be available to share opportunities and information with students in all majors. Schools, employers, and recruiters will be in attendance with potential internship and full-time job opportunities.
“This event shows how Southeast Missouri State University can directly impact the workforce,” Presson said. “An event like this allows students, alumni, and faculty to interact with employers, learn about hiring trends, business needs, new and unique products and services, and help our students launch their careers after Southeast.”
All Southeast students and alumni are welcome to attend the event. Those attending are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally. The list of employers for this year’s event can be found on the 2023 Spring Career Expo page.
