As a reminder, University business hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during summer, May 16 – Aug. 12.
Eligible employees will have the choice of either using PTO accrual to cover the 4-5 p.m. hour during the summer or work that hour and retain the PTO time for future use. However, supervisor approval is required, per University policy, for taking PTO to cover the one (1) hour of PTO each day used during the summer.
Staff employees choosing to use PTO to cover the 4-5 p.m. hour during the summer should record one (1) hour of PTO for each day used on their electronic timesheet. Staff employees choosing to use these PTO hours at other times are expected to work the 4-5 p.m. hour during the summer.
