Enjoy signature items from 13 Cape Girardeau restaurants and businesses participating in the “Restaurant Hop” on April 12, benefitting The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University.
“We’re excited to return this year with one of our most popular fundraisers,” said Dr. Kenn Stilson, chair of The Conservatory, who noted the Hop was suspended in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “$12 to get a taste of 12 restaurants, plus something for your pets. It’s a lot of fun, and we are excited bring the University and local community together for a really wonderful cause.”
The event, which takes place from 4:30-7:30 p.m., will include samplings from:
- Andy’s Frozen Custard
- Bistro Saffron
- Ebb and Flow Fermentations
- Imo’s Pizza
- Katy O’ Ferrell’s Publick House
- Marco’s Pizza
- Minglewood Brewery
- Pho 8
- Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant and Lounge
- Primo Vino
- Sugar Chic Creamery
- Ciao Ristorante + Enoteca
- Mississippi Mutts
Each eatery will serve its signature item, and participants can choose to go to any or all of the participating restaurants and eateries in the three-hour time span. “Restaurant Hop” participants will be directed to the tables involved at the respective restaurants, and Theatre and Dance students will assist the patrons at each restaurant.
The Theatre and Dance Society, host of the event, will use proceeds to fund the annual Senior Showcase. The Senior Showcase is an opportunity for graduating seniors to perform in front of a variety of agents and casting directors.
Tickets
Tickets are $12 and may be purchased through Southeast’s Conservatory of Theatre and Dance, by calling (573) 651-2149 or on the night of the event at the door of all participating restaurants.
