The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will host a “Women’s Day of Art” workshop on April 30.
“Women’s Day of Art” will take place from 1-4 p.m. Cost is $10 and pre-registration is required by April 23 at semo.edu/museum or in-person at the Museum.
During this workshop, participants will use simple hands-on techniques to create fun, small artworks including printmaking, oil painting, watercolors and paper making.
The workshop will provide a fun, unique opportunity to explore art techniques, and no experience is required, said Ellen Flentge, curator of education at Crisp Museum.
“Be inspired to let go and be creative -- you never know where that may lead,” she said. “Participants can make up things on their own or be guided with preselected ideas and designs.”
Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
