Bollinger is a resident of Fruitland, Missouri, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art with an emphasis on sculpture.

Bollinger has always worked at becoming an artist. Since she was in kindergarten, she drew and created art. Resources were scarce during her childhood, so she tried to be creative with what was on hand, drawing for hours on scrap paper or cardboard. She drew what she saw or from pictures from magazines. Later in her life, she created art in her own time, while raising a family. This body of work signals a change in Bollinger’s style as she moves toward an abstract aesthetic. Her drawings began to reflect this change, which has now migrated into her painting.

Attendees are welcome to tour the entire Catapult facilities including the Southeast’s Department of Art and Design student studios and gallery. Visitors are also invited to browse the merchandise in the Catapult Creative House Shoppe, which features student work and local business products.

Catapult Creative House is located at 612 Broadway, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. All gallery exhibitions, events and talks are free and open to the public.
