KRCU invites the Southeast community to don a spooky costume and participate in the “Monster Mash Dash,” the second annual 5KRCU on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Participants have the option to run competitively with professional timing provided by the Cape Road Runners or walk for leisure to raise funds for KRCU Public Radio. Halloween costumes are encouraged but not mandatory. No “flying” broomsticks allowed, however extra points go to those dressed as NPR hosts.

Early bird registration is available until Friday, Oct. 4, and those registered by that date are guaranteed a T-shirt available for pick up on race day.The general race fee is $25, and $30 after Oct. 4. Registration for Southeast students and children under the age of 17 is $10, and $15 after Oct. 4. To register, click here, or download the registration form.

Registration will also be available on race day at 7 a.m. The race will start at 8 a.m.
