Making Plans

Southeast could not be prouder of its rich 150-year history. The tradition. The struggles. The successes and every miscue that led to powerful learning moments.

The institution has grown with its students and its region. It’s learned where it wants to go and what it plans to be. The power of Southeast Missouri State is the transformational educational experience it brings not only to its students but also to their families, their communities. It has prepared tens of thousands of professionals who have gone on to teach, to research, to care, to treat, to create, to produce, to serve and to lead. That would be an impressive story if it ended there, but Southeast Missouri State University is just getting started.

As the landscape of higher education changes at a rapid pace, I believe Southeast will continue to be a destination institution. … I know our best days are ahead of us as we work together to positively impact student success.

Investing in Infrastructure

Prioritizing critical facilities and infrastructure investments is a top Southeast priority as it looks to the future. Operating a healthier and more sustainable campus and investing in sustainability projects with strong financial and energy savings returns will be a guiding rule.
