Student Financial Responsibilities
Students enrolled in Southeast have financial responsibilities for the courses they are taking and additional services contracted on campus. Know your responsibilities and review the Student Financial Responsibility and Contact Consent form.
Installment Payment Plan
The IPP agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participating in Southeast’s installment payment plan.
Financial Aid Code of Conduct
Southeast prescribes to the National Association of Student Financial Aid Professionals (NASFAA) Code of Conduct as an institutional member of the organization.
Military Tuition Assistance
Federal Military Tuition Assistance (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard) is awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. When a student drops a class or classes, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of Fed TA funds originally awarded. To comply with the Department of Defense (DoD) policy, Southeast Missouri State University(Southeast) will return any unearned Fed TA funds on a prorated basis through at least the 60% portion of the period for which the funds were provided.
Satisfactory Academic Progress
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is the policy that outlines minimum requirements students must meet, in order to remain eligible for federal and selected state financial aid (i.e. federal loans, grants, etc.).
Scholarship Terms & Conditions
For complete details on Academic Scholarships, review the Terms & Conditions. Academic (Freshman & Transfer) scholarships are available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Academic (International) scholarships are awarded to non U.S. citizens with lawful presence in the U.S. and the right per their visa status to enroll in a full-time course of study.
