I joined the Admissions Team in July 2003 and have served as Director of Admissions since January 2013. Prior to this role, I served as the Associate Director of Admissions from June 2011 to December 2012, Associate Director of Admissions for Operations and Communications from April 2009 to June 2011, Assistant Director of Admission for Communications from July 2007 to March 2009, and Admission Web Counselor from July 2003 to June 2007.

As Director of Admissions, I provide leadership for the Office of Admissions by leading the development and implementation of effective strategies to attract, enroll and retain new students and advocate for access to higher education.

The Office of Admissions provides pre-college awareness, recruitment and admission counseling services to prospective students, families, and school counselors. An annual recruitment program is prepared and executed to meet the enrollment goals of the University, as established by the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Committee.

We also oversee adherence to the University's admission policy and the processing of undergraduate and graduate student admission applications for all campuses, including the regional campuses and online programs.

Southeast challenged me but also believed in me when I was a student. The relationships I built with faculty and staff were key to me seeing the potential in myself and encouraging me to get involved and take on leadership roles. From being a founding member of Omicron Delta Kappa's chapter at SEMO to winning first place in the Delta Epsilon Chi national competition to traveling abroad visiting four countries in Europe, these experiences have shaped who I am today.

As Executive Director of Enrollment Strategy, I lead the University's retention efforts and supervise the Registrar's Office, SEMO Online & Graduate Services, the Office of Military and Veterans Services, SupportNET, TRIO/Educational Access Programs, and Early College Program.  My journey at SEMO began in July 2023 when I joined the Admissions Team.  My roles have included Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management and Admissions from April 2025 to January 2026, Director of Admissions from January 2013 to March 2025, Associate Director of Admissions from June 2011 to December 2012, Associate Director of Admissions for Operations and Communications from April 2009 to June 2011, Assistant Director of Admission for Communications from July 2007 to March 2009, and Admission Web Counselor from July 2003 to June 2007.

Commitment to the profession keeps me active in the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO) where I currently serve on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Admissions and Enrollment Management.  I am also an active member of the Missouri Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (MACRAO) having served in several leadership roles for MACRAO including past-president, president, president-elect, vice president-elect and vice president of Programs and Projects, and webmaster.

Element451, the CRM technology platform that powers Southeast’s engagement efforts, named me the 2021 Captain of the Year.  We have also been recognized by Element451 with the 2020 Pillar Award for Productivity, 2022 Evangelist Award, 2023 Personalization Award, 2024 Spirit Award and 2025 Ethical Guardian Award.

My educational background includes an associate of arts degree from Three Rivers College and bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA) and master’s in business administration (MBA) from Southeast Missouri State University. I have completed professional certifications and trainings in enrollment analytics and customer service excellence.  Over the last 20+ years, I have presented at numerous state and national conferences to share my knowledge with other professionals.

SEMO challenged me but also believed in me when I was a student. My commitment is to help others see the impact a college degree can have on their life and close the gap in them achieving their dreams.
